Is a big-box "gun safe" good enough?

Will a gun safe protect my guns in a house fire?

A fire-rated gun safe keeps the inside under 350°F for its rated time, 30 minutes to 2 hours. That protects guns and documents. Store ammo with care and ask us about the right rating for your setup. But buy a safe that is independently fire rated to ensure the rating holds.

Can you deliver and bolt down a gun safe in Mesa?
