AMSEC CSC1913 Buglary Fire Safe

Description

The American Security CSC1913 composite safe is an economical solution for protecting documents from fire and valuables from theft. It is UL listed as a RSC I burglary rated safe (see our article on Safe Burglary Ratings).  Using extreme testing procedures, the AMSEC CSC1913 composite safe has passed a 2 hour fire test at temperatures up to 1700F degree with the interior never exceeding 350F degrees. There is an intumescent door seal which expands in the heat of a fire to help protect the contents of the AMSEC CSC1913 composite safe.

The AMSEC CSC1913 has a door with an overall thickness of over 4.625 inches, constructed with a 2-inch defense barrier of outer and inner steel plates creating a burglary resistant structure which then encloses a proprietary fire-resistant slurry.  2 massive 1.5 inch diameter solid steel chrome plated active bolts extend from the door when closed and locked, while 2 additional inactive bolts extend into the frame of the safe from the hinge side. Heavy duty steel hinges will provide years of smooth door operation.

There are several options of locks that can be paired with the American Security CSC1913 safe, which by default comes with either the UL listed AMSEC ESL 10 electronic lock, or a Group II combination lock with a spy-proof dial. Regardless the lock body, they are protected by a tempered glass re-lock device that will lock the door down should the glass ever be shattered.

The American Security CSC1913 safe body rests on 4 pads, which are removable if the safe is to be bolted down.

There is a single bolt hole for securing the safe (mounting hardware is provided for a concrete bolt down installation.) The body thickness overall is 2-7/8 inches, constructed of double wall steel and enclosing the same proprietary fire-resistant composite slurry giving it it's fire rating. An optional LED light kit is available.

It has a durable powder coat Charcoal Gray finish inside and out (including the 2 shelves in this model). The face of the safe has an attractive brushed steel fascia with a matching 3-point handle.
