As a mid-level gun safe, the NF series gun safes by American Security are American Made, mid-to-high end security that offer both superior performance and value. 

Don’t let its size fool you. The smallest 90-minute fire safe in the series, the NF5924E5, can handle the heat. Its sleek, slim frame makes it a perfect fit for any closet, garage, or bedroom. 

With over a foot of depth, the safe comes equipped with multiple shelves, a door organizer, and optional jewelry drawers. The shelves can be easily relocated for an all-shelf configuration or all long gun configuration, making it perfect to protect anything from rifles to a ring box.

American Security’s NF line looks great, and they’re loaded with premium options. AC power outlet, a stunning gunmetal gray finish, and trending black nickel hardware are all standard.

The NF5924E5 has a 90-minute ETL certified fire rating. It will maintain its inside to less than 350 degrees, with an external temperature of 1200 degrees. What about security? There’s no point in buying a premium safe that doesn’t protect its content.  The outer layer of the NF5924 is 11-gauge steel, and there’s also a 1/4" steel plate door to protect the safe from a crowbar attack. It has 14 giant 1 ½” chrome plated bolts protection on all four side of door so that it cannot be removed, even if the hinges have been cut off. It comes standard with an UL-listed Type 1 ESL5 digital electronic lock that is protected by a massive hard plate.  

These features lead to the NF5924E5 being a UL-Rated Residential Security Container Level 1 (RSC I – see our YouTube video What are Burglary Ratings?).
