The entry-level Hollon Hunter Series HGS-11E gun safe is assembled in the USA. The gun safe offers security against fire and theft with a level of quality big-box store safes can't beat at its price point.

These smaller gun safes are designed specifically for limited area spaces making them ideal for closet use.

Constructed of 12-gauge steel (thicker than most entry level safes), the Hollon HGS11E features 8 active and inactive 1 1/4 bolts that secure all 4 sides of the door against pry attacks.

The is filled with dry board and sealed with fire resistant caulk to provide 45 minutes of fire protection, at up to 1400F degrees external temperature, keeping your contents of the rifle safe under 350F degrees. Most house fired burn at around 1100 degrees so this is more than adequate fire protection.

The lock is a Sargent and Greenleaf EMP-rated electronic lock, and it's protected by a drill/ballistic resistant hard plate that Hollon says you'd have to melt to get through. But just in case – there is an auxiliary re-lock system which will secure the safe even if the lock is absent. An S & G spy-proof dial lock is optionally available.

All Hollon HGS 11E gun safes come standard with a canvas pocket door organizer to help maximize storage, and a gun configured plush lined, deep grey, multi-flex interior shelf system. The shelving is adjustable and can be configured for all gun or all shelf storage.

Also included with the Hollon HGS-11E gun safe is a reusable silica desiccant bag to keep humidity levels low inside. The safe have 4 holes in the bottom for bolting the safe down securely; hardware for a concrete bolt down is included.

Options include an all-shelf kit instead of the gun safe shelf configuration, an LED light kit.
