The Hollon MJ-2618 safe door features a specially designed burglary resistant handle and Hollon's own vault hinges that allow for fire resistant material to be filled into spaces other TL-30's can't due to standard hinge designs. Inside the door are hard plating and glass re-rockers. The lock body can be a Group 2M UL listed dial or a Type 1 S&G EMP resistant Spartan D-Drive electronic lock. The boltwork is U-channel constructed with 10  bolts on all sides of the door.

This TL30 safe door construction starts with ¼ inch armor plate steel. Then Hollon adds a concrete/aluminum slurry filled with in disbursed 10, 8, and 3 gauge steel pieces to grab and eat up any drill bits trying to get through.  There’s another piece of hardened steel plate around the lock body.

Combined, this is up to one full inch of solid steel protecting the door (view the cutout image). Plus the concrete/metal slurry designed to wreck drill bits if an attempt is made to gain access this way. The door to the MJ safe, alone, is a beast.

Weighing in at 1114 pounds, the Hollon MJ-2618 safe body is constructed of thicker steel than most competitors and filled with a highly compressed proprietary concrete mixture filling every void possible, and this provides you with a fire rating of two hours keeping the contents of your TL30 safe below 350F degrees in fires of up to 1750F degrees.  That same concrete mixture provides added drill resistance against side attacks.  On the interior it comes with 2 shelf/ves and a 5/8 inch bolt hole to secure the safe to the floor.

Hollon backs up their safe protection with a lifetime warranty against fire and burglary and a 1 year warranty on labor and parts.

Options

• MJ-2618E option adds a EMP Resistant, two code, Type 1 S&G Spartan D-Drive Electronic Lock. The Drive lock is a mechanical extraction and retraction of the bolt to long lasting performance. After entering the code, the lock is turned to retract the bolts, and then turned after closing the door to lock the bolts. An indicator is present to show if door is locked or unlocked.
