As a mid-level gun safe, the NF series gun safes by American Security are American Made, mid-to-high end security that offer both superior performance and value.

The NF6036E5 has a 90-minute ETL certified fire rating. It will maintain its inside to less than 350 degrees, with an external temperature of 1200 degrees. What about security? There’s no point in buying a premium safe that doesn’t protect its content.  The outer layer of the NF6036 is 11-gauge steel, and there’s also a 1/4" steel plate of the entire  door to protect the safe from a crowbar attack. It has 14 giant 1 ½” chrome plated bolts protection on all four side of door so that it cannot be removed, even if the hinges have been cut off. It comes standard with an UL-listed Type 1 ESL5 electronic lock that is protected by a massive hard plate.  

These features lead to the NF6036E5 being a UL-Rated Residential Security Container Level 1 (RSC I – see our YouTube video What are Burglary Ratings?).
