This PM-1014 has been independently tested to stop safe engineers from entering the safe using a combination of electronic and manual tools including common hand tools, picking tools (like an axe), portable machine tools (like drills and power saws), sledgehammers, angle grinders and more. A TL-15 safe must stop access for a total of 15 minutes “tool-touching-safe” time. Because of this, a 15-minute test can take several hours to complete.  If you own a business, the content stored within a TL15 safe will be insurable.

The Hollon PM1014 safe door features a specially designed burglary resistant handle and Hollon's own vault hinges. Hollon’s vault hinges are specifically designed so that fire-resistant material will file the entire space around the hinge, while other TL15 safes will have space gaps because of a standard hinge designs.

Inside the door are hard plating and glass re-rockers. The bolt work is U-channel constructed with 6 massive bolts on all sides of the door.

The standard combination lock body is a Group 2M UL listed dial (PM-1014C). It can be upgraded to a Type 1 S&G EMP resistant Spartan D-Drive electronic lock (PM-1014E). The D-drive lock uses mechanical extraction and retraction of the bolt to long lasting performance. After entering the code, the lock is turned to retract the bolts, and then turned after closing the door to lock the bolts. An indicator is present to show if door is locked or unlocked. Biometric, audit trail and dual (combination dial with digital access) locks are also available on most models.

The PM-1014 safe door is constructed starting with ¼ inch armor plate steel, then some random 10, 8, and 3 gauge steel is placed between the interior and exterior walls and filled with a concrete/aluminum slurry. Trying to drill through hardened mixture eats up even the best drill bits.

Another hardened steel plate is secured to further protect the lock body.

Combined, this is up to one full inch of solid steel protecting this door. The door to the PM1014 safe by Hollon is a beast.

That same concrete mixture fills the walls of the safe and provides added drill resistance against side attacks.  

Weighing in at 450 pounds, the Hollon PM-1014 safe body is constructed of thicker steel than most competitors and filled with a highly compressed proprietary concrete fire-retardant mixture filling every void.  This provides you with a fire rating of two hours, keeping the contents of your TL15 safe  below 350F degrees in external temperatures of up to 1750F degrees.  

On the interior it comes with 1 shelf and a 5/8 inch bolt hole to secure the safe to the floor.

PM-104E Options
