AMSEC's newest gun safe line, the BFX series. The American Security BFX6024 gun safe is a small gun safe with exterior dimensions of 59.25" high by 24.00" wide by 21.00" deep. It's size makes it an ideal closet safe.

Don’t let its size fool you. The BFX6024 is the smallest of the BFX line but can handle the heat. It’s sleek, slim frame makes it a perfect fit for any closet, garage, or bedroom.  With over a foot of depth, the safe comes equipped with multiple shelves, a door organizer, and optional jewelry drawers. The shelves can be easily relocated for an all-shelf configuration or all long gun configuration, making it perfect to protect anything from rifles to a ring box.

Its weight lends credence to it's quality at 751 pounds. This gun safe can be one of the most stylish you'll find. The BFX6024 offers a massive 3/8" solid steel door plate with an additional 1/4" of hard plate between the lock body and the door plate. The outside of the safe is two inches thick with an outer 11 gauge metal layer and an inner 12 gauge. This totals an approximate 1/4" steel barrier.

The BFX-6024 also has  a newly designed gear-driven, active 2 - way bolt system. This boltwork throws and deadlocks the door on all 4 sides of the safe. The gear-driven boltwork has 360-degree handle rotation for smooth protraction of the long, solid steel locking bolts into safes frame to protect against pry attacks. This boltwork is specifically designed to withstand sledgehammer and crowbar pry attacks.

The above design features of the  AMSEC BFX gun safe series have resulted in its having a UL RSC1 Burlgary Rating (see our YouTube video Burglary Ratings Explained). In general, this rating means that the safe can withstand a 1-man attack from common tools for 5 minutes of "tool on safe" time. That's the actual time a tool is working on the safe, not clock time, and this is by trained safe cracking professionals.

The AMSEC BFX6024 rifle safe is rated for over to 2 hours of fire protection by the independent Intertek/ ETL certification board (see our YouTube video Fire Ratings Explained). The BFX walls and door are lined with AMSECs proprietary Drylight fire resistant material instead of drywall, eliminating gaps and weak points in its fire protection. This test verified that the BFX series gun safes outperform gun safes constructed with drywall. Additionally the BFX6024 has dual door seals to protect it's content from fire and smoke. 

There are a variety of paint options fo the AMSEC BFX6024. There are 4 textured finishes, great at resisting/hiding finger prints, and 8 high gloss colors that turn your safe into a stunning room fixture. There are also 3 hardware colors to choose from: Chrome, Brass and BlackNickel.
