• Construction: The BFX6636 features a 1/2" solid steel door plate and an additional 1/4" hard plate between the lock body and door plate. The safe's body is two inches thick, with an outer 11-gauge metal layer and an inner 12-gauge layer, creating an approximate 1/4" steel barrier.
• Advanced Bolt System: The newly designed gear-driven, active 4-way bolt system secures the door on all four sides. This system provides smooth 360-degree handle rotation and extends solid steel locking bolts into the safe's frame, protecting against pry attacks and resisting sledgehammer and crowbar efforts.
• Burglary Rating: The BFX6636 boasts a UL RSC1 Burglary Rating, meaning it can withstand a 5-minute attack from common tools by trained safe-cracking professionals.
• Fire Protection: Rated for over 2 hours of fire protection by Intertek/ETL, the safe uses AMSEC's proprietary Drylight fire-resistant material, eliminating gaps and weak points. Dual door seals offer additional protection from fire and smoke.
